Finally I saw it! My friends know what I wanted to see this movie and I was hoping to see a movie, but, in hindsight it was fine (in my humble opinion) € 7.00 saved.
'm not fond of boxing, but as I have already written in the past when an Italian has shown the value of the flag before the world my joy is endless.
Carnera more than a "mere" myth has been the symbol of a nation that, as oppressed by poverty and hunger has been able to roll up their sleeves and rebuild (or in some cases even reinvent) from scratch.
But back to the film, it starts with the best conditions of the classic film-biography, we see first win the title of world heavyweight champion (the first Italian to win) then the film is a carousel of flashbacks between childhood and adulthood that are a challenge to those who watch the film because it is not well defined timing and chronology of events in this film the classic added that the writers create to make storyline I did not like at all and is a rare event, usually the film adaptations of comic book heroes lived or really I like to die but then they stole the show in real time or phrases that should be included.
Excellent acting by Andrea Laia in the lead role, the nice part of Lou Soresi starring Burt Young became famous for his role as Paulie Pennino brother a certain boxer.
but I do not recommend watching some video of the board to see how Prime This or This , had it not been for that sore ankle ....
